George W. Bush, for his part, is hopeless and hapless. Worse than a lame duck, he’s a seriously disabled parakeet, with no remaining store of public trust.

Reich was Clinton’s labor secretary and he and Robert Rubin have dueled on the correct course for the American economy since their days on Clinton’s Cabinet – both are now advisors for Obama. This is a pretty scary time, but thankfully we have the election to distract us for the time being. No, I’m not being sarcastic. If it wasn’t for the election and being super-busy at work, I’d be freaking out about what little money I have and the security of the funding for my education.
